Not always.. I mean on some distros yea, but ubntu it just has an installer and your done, and usually everything just works once installed.
In fact I can say ive spent more time fixing bugs when installing windows than with linux, which usually just works the first time.
I think many people **think** thats true simply because they have expiernce with windows and not linux so they are more likely to install things in a known-workable way on windows.
@freemo @vaartis I think with #Linux there’s more time spent at first to set it up but it’s faster and simpler than #Windows so once it’s setup, there is indeed much time saved.
