@LouisIngenthron Ha!
@freemo Went thru a phase of same on Txitter. Blocked & reported every single one. Eventually went away but the inconsistency of response to reports was just inane.
@freemo Facebook got a lot better for me when I realized the only value it has was connecting with people I personally know in real life (I may not have seen them in a decade, but I know them and want to stay connected). Thus those bots are easy to get rid of as I don't care if that random person is real or not - I don't know them so they are not in. I have also made it a point to leave all facebook groups. Facebook is a terrible forum for connecting to people who share an interest with me, or for buying selling things: I don't miss those parts are all. Now if I could just convince people that I don't want to see anything someone shared - if it isn't their life I don't want to see it.
@bluGill Thats mostly how I use facebook, people I personally know.
@freemo Fwiw, this *exact* scam is twice as funny on gay dating sites/apps.
