#Mastodon is a great way to share short #Video clips and meaningful messages...
+ many types of media via Mastodon (a great advert for it).

For mass storage and public access:
- #NextCloud if it's got better in terms of speed and interface
- #FTP still the winner for me!

+ FTP interface is the fastest and most responsive!
FTP Interface is just as your own systems file explorer to upload/download and can queue / mass delete / reorganise in seconds. Not on PT.
FTP shows things minimally.
+Don't want or need much more!
For me, not even to play video or stream is needed much or PT can be used occasionally as a demo (not every single video!)
With FTP when it's labelled right just drag and drop to serve file explorer window!
All Linux system have it
FTP doesn't create unneeded load and 1 by 1 administration.
For small video- just download it if it's small enough and delete! For my use it works.
Example:
Have a few big front shop videos on PT as a demo (for example my chess games) and FTP for the rest!
Password protection on FTP possible.
Towards education and personal stuff this is just FAST - drag and drop directories, rename instantly, no waiting for browser to load or contact through layers that are almost emulating FTP!
