It's actually the responsibility of both user and host I believe to choose what links they give and take. What people push or what people accept are two different happenings.
List of reasons to support title of post.
#1. You as a user / host / pusher of data can also be responsible / can push your political ideal more clearly.
2. Users are also responsible, but usually lazy or yes has automatic plugin or un-aware or etc so depending on how serious you are this makes 100% sure and for many users
3. Putting privacy filtered links avoid the ignorance or mis-click and catches all cases

4. It's shows what you support more visibly / literally / directly.

5. Seeing your support instead of a browser addon tool Invidious / FreeSoftware peopel might see and support you more clearly! It is political!
