My feelings about social on #Fediverse / #Mastodon - it's all positively said even if right now it's not as positive as this current outlook:

...External Doubt / Paranoia:

...Observed Cowering in Corners:

More 2-Way Comms / warmer people and even friendship-making needed.

#Fediverse is more than just a software-protocol, so it needs *people* to be social or trained others how to make friends more often.

Problem is that not everyone knows how to make #friends and always specifically why... but they do want to be in #meetup #events / #festivals / #clubs etc which is why they visit in person in the hope better things happen between people.

So with less in-person events or more regulations, I think online is perfect for this real social to happen, kind of like regular dating program to find someone but not being too desperate, just much more toned down to see who else is out there seeing the potential in two people really finding almost mutually-#random things to work on, or those that simply have #free #time to #help out.

If we just buy and sell each other for specific commercial #projects as the main required #relationships, then nothing much better happens from it.
