i think rules should change to make it so that cops have to live within a certain radius of the neighborhoods they "serve". For ex 10 miles. if the cop isnt personally connected to his/her community, mofo doesn't BELONG there

@gawrsh Im not sure that would help, might even make it worse... Some neighbor puts up a sign they dont like or paints their house an off color they just bust in and shoot them.
makes the cops less impartial and will start playing favorites more because they know people and will protect their friends.
A speculation that I haven't seen enough evidence of to worry about, of black cop groups busting in houses to shoot other blacks. Since they dont exist really. No PD in America is all-black. one black cop or two out of an entire force of whites, outnumbered usually, is the case. besides, that exact dynamic is happening now just reversed. White cops from distant communities play favorites and protect their own friend cops when these cops are guilty of brutality and dont hesitate to shoot
