One of the things I never liked as much about #Twitter was the quote tweet feature + algorithms favoring spiraling content. It would reward a lot of snarky quotes and people talking about what you said than talking with you about what you said.

Being able to quote can be helpful to add context, but in a platform with a word limit, the feature can be exploited for clapbacks and sensationalization.
