There’s no convincing me that these modern emulation based C64s aren’t really cool. I know plenty of people dismiss them as “it’s just a Raspberry Pi running Vice!” and whilst there’s some merit to that comment it doesn’t stop them being cool.

@gpowerf I have one of these and love it, I also ave the Amiga 500 version, and just think its amazing. and this coming from a guy who has both of the real machines. :)

@fratm I never had a C64 or an Amiga. TheC64 Mini introduced me to the C64 and now I LOVE it!

@gpowerf Welcome to the fan club :) the C64 was my second computer ever, and I have loved it ever since. I got mine in 1984. I don't have my original one (wish I did, I donated it to the boys and girls club in the 90s).

@fratm these are both modern, but I like them as much as I like my Atari 2600 or my childhood NES.

I have a second still boxed and never opened TheC64 😀

@gpowerf I learned 6502 Assembly on the C64, so if you are into coding, I highly recommend learning that. Learning assembly gives you a whole new view on how computers work.
