I need to learn how to interpret normal types of jokes. I have lots of friends who post memes and what not, and more often than not, I totally miss the sarcasm that goes with them.

@cambridgeport90 Ha, not something you can learn. I used to mark my posts /\ -- the mountain of sarcasm. :)

@hasmis I wish it was. A friend of a friend of mine doesn't a lot, and I always feel like an idiot for asking seemingly silly questions. Everyone else in my group understands what he's talking about except for me.

@hasmis I could do that. It drives people nuts, though, probably, having to explain to me things that the rest of them get without even thinking about it.

@cambridgeport90 Dark, cynical humour is bad habit. I was inspired by your bio to write mine, so you bring to mind Luna from Harry Potter. That's why I don't use my 'mountain of sarcasm' sigil any more, I don't write it. Watch 'Love by the square foot' on Netflix. It's pure humour.

@hasmis The funny thing is though? None of what I have in my bio was actually meant to be funny. It's meant to be completely serious. Everyone might think I'm a little crazy though.

@cambridgeport90 Since I'm projecting the end of our warming cycle and a coming micro ice age, the North Fae will be able to come down to Toronto, riding their very healthy polar bears.

@hasmis I've seen them riding unicorns. Never polar bears, though. Not to say it doesn't happen, it's just not something I've seen before.

@cambridgeport90 They're the dang *North* Fae. I'm Canadian. I know what I'm talking about. They let me see the wolves coming down the Humber Valley, but seeing polar bears would be a bit much.

@hasmis the wolves are gorgeous. A friend of mine shows up in the astral realms as a white wolf sometimes.
