@MrsDi @edutooters Although MS has sunk billions into this, I can't see them having a 'first mover monopoly', which ensures high margins. Anybody and their dog can get into the game, and it hinges on the training. I wonder how long it takes.
@MrsDi @edutooters I think it's because the first movers are the "brights' who are technical. Then, the ruthless tycoons move in. The brights get slaughtered. However, in this case, MS is pouring billions at a bright. No chance. AI has a problem in that it takes a year to train it on last year's data. Someone has to figure out how to feed it modern data, which conflicts with older data. I suspect we have a scaling problem.

Someone else mentioned this in a discussion last night - something to the effect that the SECOND one is the one that makes the money. Wish I could remember the quote they used. So if Microsoft is jumping in as 1... who will be the money maker in the 2 spot? :)
