The Australian Government floating the idea of an alcohol prohibition is wild. People would be absolutely livid, if they did that.

If alcohol would have been invented 40 years ago, it would be already illegal.
The only thing keeping it legal is tradition and the fact that we have been living in an alcoholic world for at least 10.000 years.
Scientific evidence is already overwhelming. It is social and economic issues that keep it legal.
