There is plenty of people saying the USA is not even going to have free elections anymore. The fact that the Republicans are doing everything they can to rig them says otherwise. Of course, an election with a ton of gerrymandering, voter supression, etc. is not exactly free, but Hungary has just clearly demonstrated that Trump could be dethroned if there is a modicum of freedom in the elections. Of course, that requires honest public servants and a lot of people's effort, but it can be done. People fleeing hinders that.
So force is not the only one thing that can overcome modern fascism.
The only battles you are doomed to lose are the battles you concede before they are even started.
The worst enemy of freedom is defeatism.
@jgg @ekky @opny721 @eunews I'm getting the impression you think the US can't vote their problems away, but never in history has fascism been overcome via elections. Only force stops fascists. & People fleeing aren't going to use force.
