TIL "eating locust" doesn't mean the bugs
@levisan as in john the baptist's diet being locust tree fruit rather than insects? my understanding is insects is the more traditional / linguistically likely view (and more nutritionally sustainable)

@sabbatical A discussion about that, which did settle on the "it's more likely he ate the bugs", is precisely how I learned it
