@realcaseyrollins how would you feel if you’re accidentally pregnant and you can’t afford your child because you’re in school and you need to study? Or you don’t win enough money.
@realcaseyrollins what about a tapeworm? Would you remove a tapeworm from your body if you have one?
@louiscouture Please don't compare humans to tapeworms.
@realcaseyrollins and how is it really different?
A fetus at least when it is very wrong isn’t really developed to feel anything. Just like a tapeworm. So when you compare to the distress that the mother feels, or the pain that the person with tapeworms feels, what is more moral, killing an unconscious clump of cells or forcing a woman to carry a child to term, with all the consequences it involves.
And for the case where the fetus is older.it is usually illegal, or when it is, doctors will not carry that procedure unless there is a real danger to the life of the mother.
@louiscouture lack of consciousness, nor feeling, should not be the standard as far as whether or not killing someone is okay. thats kinda ableist imho
@louiscouture I would probably be distraught.
But I don't think that means the child must be killed.
