Well qoto.org, for example, is defederated from my instance because they won't block racists.
Is that information out of date? If not, don't blame the block list.
@cihuapilli @BlueDot @freemo@mastodon.acm.org @wild1145 @BobMastodon @oliphant how is this relevant to the conversation, please?
My current interpretation is that you personally have strong opinions about @freemo's attitude. Neither of this has any relationship to the rules (I welcome corrections to this interpretation). Given what I've seen, my expectation is to be also blocked for this comment. Not a problem, but this is between individuals, not a matter of instance policies.

It is relevant because it shows intent and character. For a long time I have been relatively passive towards qoto.org - benefit of the doubt. But "mocking" pronouns is just something I do not feel like having capacity to deal with nor would I want my users to deal with it, so I will block qoto going forward.
You can convince your local pub that its not mocking, but that ain't gonna work here.
@BlueDot - thanks for the receipts - quite aligned with his general perception.
FWIW though, he is not the same person behind newsie.
I mean I guess if you ignore the fact that QOTO is explicitly a safe haven for the LGBT. We have even spent time developing features specifically to address LGBT safety and I regularly post LGBT supportive messages

If I were mocking people then why would this be my first pinned toot on my timeline?
