Does Mastodon have a default server block list when installed from source?
Someone made this claim in a discussion, yet looking through the official repository and the install directions yields nothing in the way of a default block list. Furthermore, search results seem if anything to imply the opposite when it comes to the official repo.
@namark They didn't, and as a bonus they don't seem to have responded to requests for elaboration and evidence
@mathlover Whoever made the claim should provide the proof, show in the repo. You don't get to make baseless speculative claims on FOSS software.
There were some clients, like tusky, that blocked gab on the client side, and people went on a holy crusade against everyone that didn't do that, but that's pretty much it, when it comes to hard coded blocks.
