Computer Engineering
@mur2501 nice! do you like it? where you want to work after you graduate?
I have degree in infosec, but it's useless, because I have bipolar and all places where I could work don't hire people with serious mental illnesses. well, I don't like this field so it's okay.
@mur2501 @kotik The UK equality act does that, but can only go so far, employers can't just at your condition and decide no, there are ways to accommodate people with the right skills.
Best not to disclose any conditions unless asked as part of the process. Same way you don''t put your age on you cv / resume.
@kotik
I have interests in low level stuffs
System Programming
Semiconductor Fabrication
Reverse Engineer
Malware Analysis
Microprocessor design
etc.
I don't find much interest in App Dev, Web Dev and all the popular stuffs ![]()
@mur2501 wow. I know what these words mean, but I don't know anything about these fields
reverse engineering is coooooool
@kotik
Well these are specialized fields.
basically the jobs where you need a master's degree or Phd to get in
@mur2501 it's great that you know this stuff! I wish you luck with employment ![]()
@kotik
I am yet to face the employment stuffs
I don't much expect anyway
Though seeing my classmates who can't even write one line of code in second year of Computer Engineeringn (they copy everything from internet don't even change the comments)
but this college do places a good number of students into companies so it seems interviewers are equally dumbo.
@mur2501 oh, I can understand things about stupid classmates
mine couldn't code too, actually I wrote them stuff for exams for some money. also math assignments... yeah. and looks like most of them got nice jobs in government lol
@mur2501 thanks!
what degree are you getting?
