Has anyone seen anything about the energy / carbon costs of #worldcoin ?

Seems like these might be significant, if they want to add a new identity to the on-chain set at roughly the world birth rate, and every post to social media requires a proof (currently groth16 which can't even be aggregated, but [handwaving about future improvements here]).

I mean, owch?
