My favorite thing about so far is that there is inline support for LaTeX. Cannot wait to try it as I have been trying to learn it as much as possible in my Calc 1 course.

“Inline math Latex support - Use \ ( and \ ) for inline LaTeX, and \ [ and \ ] for display mode.”

@vern I will describe it poorly but it’s used for formatting text and math equations. I think it could be used for anything from writing a book to writing a math test online.

\frac{2}{3} (in case that actually works “\ frac {2} {3}”) without any spaces would give you a really nice formatting of 2/3.

@derickflorian @vern Unfortunately, this feature doesn't work very well.

\(\frac{2}{3}\)

\[frac{2}{3}\]

@vern @peterdrake thanks! It’s a nice idea but definitely not critical. Everything else has worked perfectly so far and I’m enjoying the platform!
