/ I was watching Jordan Peterson and he mentioned thinking that ADD & ADHD was over-diagnosed and did not recommend medication for it, I remembered that my parent had a similar stance and looked up what he's had to say about the matter, and it was quite interesting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9VGGMBC73c).
/ He cited a study on mice saying that when "deprived of rough and tumble play" (as happens in schools) they would exhibit ADD & ADHD-like behavior because their prefrontal cortexes haven't completely developed or whatever. I remembered that my parents had thought that I might have it, but didn't drug me up and hoped that I would grow out of it. Turns out I did, more or less.
/ Mom would tell me that once she started homeschooling me (after taking me out of private school) she could NOT get me to sit still. At all. Period. But again I grew out of it. I've been beginning to think about why, and I think I've found the answer.
/ Now that I'm no longer homeschooled and can finally meet people (thank goodness) I've met some people with ADD/ADHD and we really click because I still kinda understand that mindset.

/ Now I will say this; I've never met a person with ADD/ADHD who was homeschooled.
