@realcaseyrollins additionally the fact that it’s targeting eight states and “Stacy’s” line about “around here” seems to imply an intent to represent her as a citizen of the target state.

@stirringthepot The Daily Kos' argument is that they are lying by calling her a "local woman"; this is not true. However, my argument (and I assume yours as well) is that it is deceptive, by not disclosing that it's an actress.

Would you say deception is an attempt to mislead? If so at the root of that is lying?

@stirringthepot Deception* is * trying to mislead. However, you can deceive somebody without lying, by omitting the truth, as is the case here.

@realcaseyrollins I understand where you’re coming from and not a problem - we just define what constitutes lying differently.
