Lol did @Gabiiel literally block me just because he started losing this exchange lol
@Locksmith @Gabiiel Well I think the problem with this argument specifically. Most pro-deathers/pro-choicers will believe that a fetus isn't a human life, or it is a human life but human life doesn't have that much worth. Which isn't perfectly logical, but at least lends itself to some form of logical consistency.
But by comparing it to cancer, saying that since it's leeching off of an adult woman, it shouldn't be allowed to live, is just an embarrassing argument. Probably why he blocked me until the conversation progressed further
@realcaseyrollins @Gabiiel that is an apt comparison for someone that is convinced it isn’t a life.
@Locksmith @Gabiiel But it's unsustainable because it basically says to end all human life
Like how does the human race progress if all fetuses should be killed
@realcaseyrollins @Gabiiel well that def points out an inconsistency. Because there is never a time when a cancer becomes something other than bigger cancer.
@Locksmith @Gabiiel LOL well put!
@realcaseyrollins @Gabiiel he may have a point though. There are some pretty big, walking, talking cancers out there.
this starts at the root of the argument which you either believe or don't. is it a life? you simply can't convince some people that it is a life. and if they don't believe its a life, the whole pro-life argument falls apart. this is in the face of evidence too. you can show all the science you want to them, but if they don't want to believe its a life, then preventing abortion is wrong.
