@aluaces It depends. My main beef with interpreted languages is that there are trivial errors that the machine could catch before attempting to run anything that could save vast amounts of my time. I don’t treat compilers as the angry gate keepers that most seem to but as the friend sitting beside me pointing out my dumb mistakes. JITs, virtual machines, and other such environments really depend on where they fall on this spectrum
