@shibaprasad Yes, the numbers are odd.
If we look at the raw users number, it should indicate a whole different scene in the Local scene. Which is not happening.
A lot of people are new, probably shy, and may or may not stick around for long.
Some might just need a base address to reach out to the larger community, and post in unlisted mode, or DMs mostly.
But that would assume a more experienced user, and I don't think we are getting that many of them.
Another instance I participate in had about 250,000 posts earlier this week when I took snapshots - and the whole userbase there is -- 160 users at that time. 😮

Number of users are up by 20%, since the admin opened registrations for about 24 hours this week. Added about 30 users.
