After 14 years of litigation, criminal charges, denials, harrassment of victims, fracking company in Pennsylvania ordered to accept full responsibility for destroying town's water supply, ordered to pay for a whole new water system, ordered to take responsibility for any additional problems for the next 75 years.

@karlauerbach Yeah, I'm not aware of those details. I do know that the guilty entity is wholly owned by a much larger corporation today. OTOH, it's only $16 mil. Probably cheaper to just pay it. They earn that out in a couple of days. Lol.
@shuttersparks - Only $16million? That seems like an awfully inexpensive water system.
@karlauerbach Dimock, PA pop: 1,200
@shuttersparks terrible situation but it’s awesome that they’re being held responsible.
@shuttersparks - Chance of actual payment? Probably not high. The company is possibly organized as a distinct corporate entity from others and has minimal assets and may use bankruptcy proceedings to erase the judgement.
