It did and it didn't go well. We knocked out all the routine stuff, his senior bloodwork will take a few days to complete before they get back to me. Unfortunately this was a VERY expensive visit and I have more expenses to come.

Rufus has a Tumor on his hind leg that while not cancerous has become so large it is affecting his movement and is causing issues walking. There is almost a near certainty that he will need surgery, the extent of which is not yet known as I need to take him in for imaging - another high cost. and then of course the cost of the surgery itself.

The good: from an overall perspective my 13 year old guy seems to be pretty healthy for his age.

The bad: He has some very expensive procedures coming up and some rough decisions may need to be made.
