A brilliant idea suddenly came to my mind.

What if I shall stranslate any novel from english to russian to improve my skills?

I have "Martin Eden" learning book. Why not? A good example to start.

@sptnkmmnt That is a good idea, and if there's no Russian translation of that novel yet, it helps local readers accessing it.

Translating is quite rewarding work. If well done, it feels natural, as if it was originally written in that language.

Good luck and success on this project!

@design_RG oh, thanks for you support.

But "Martin Eden" author is Jack London. He was one of the most published foreign writers in USSR.

@sptnkmmnt You are welcome.

Ah, I did not realize it was Jack London's work, and him being already so popular in the country. If you like the book and want to work on the translation it is still a nice project; you might be able to find a printed copy of a published Russian translation later to compare with your own work, maybe.

Good luck with this idea!
