For those using #openScience data repositories (e.g. Dryad, Zenodo, OSF, etc), do you have a preferred repository or do you change repositories depending on the use case?
If the latter, what factors dictate where you choose to share your data?
@tnarock when I was choosing, the quality of the reader experience was important to me. Could I share a link to an easily-readable doc on mobile as well as desktop? Does it sync with orcid and isni? Can I share a link to all my deposits on a profile or index page?
@tnarock I'd tried zenodo and figshare and neither were perfect. I've put some things on https://hcommons.org/ but hadn't tested the reader experience. In some ways it doesn't matter if ultimately you're stuck with a PDF, but making the PDF easier to view helps
For now work things go on https://bl.iro.bl.uk/ but I'd love to move e.g. slideshare stuff somewhere else.
