https://xkcd.com/2275/ doesn't apply to when people say just "coronavirus" instead of "the coronavirus". It would be like saying, "Spider has moved to..." as opposed to, "The spider has moved to..."

@collectedoverspread To be fair, people refer with 'spider' to plenty of other spiders around as well.
But I've never seen people refer to other diseases as 'coronavirus' before. It's painfully obvious which one they're talking about. I'm not going to call my common cold 'coronavirus' all of a sudden in everyday talks.
