The way BTC for example is mined is total bullshit.. "Solving" fictious problems for reward doesn't make sense. All that computing power is used the wrong way, I love the idea of getting rewards etc but not for a meaningless "block to mine" in that case it's only about the money no mater the "costs"
@Shredd_Tone Problem is that with mining it's the same problem: You need capital to generate capital. So, the big guys with their large mining farms are earning the most. The 'little guy' earns less and in the end it ends up all the same ratio as with paper money.
Like you said, crypto is getting hogged by all the fat cats.
I feel there needs to be a different way of 'generating' the coins than mining. One that might be more fair. Which? I dunno. Because likely you'd need capital to begin with anyway.
@trinsec yeah, I hear you there. I think the way that the world currently is its difficult to keep anything away from the top dogs of the game as long as they want to get their hands on it
