@mkl Welcome to Qoto. Don't worry about 'free speech' here, it means you can say unpopular opinions without repercussions (so you can even disagree with our admin all you want). But if it becomes hate speech, you still can get banned. It's not like on those extremist instances.

Last I checked this remains to be the case. QOTO has one of the lowest insularity rates on the fediverse and relatively speaking can see a much larger portion of the fediverse than most. The ones that do block us tend to be the radicalized servers who heavily block indiscriminately, servers which by that very nature tend to be very insulated.
