hey #qoto folks, how do I follow a hashtag on here? I see a subscribe icon next to a hashtag search in screenshots of other instances, but no such button in search results here.

I think there are a few reasons why it differs. Qoto is a few versions behind default Mastodon. And this also allows for putting the followed stuff in other timelines, like in one of your own lists. I'm not sure default Mastodon can do this.
