@peterdrake Oh, does she sleep in there regularly?
I just find it a bit funny, nowadays you're reading a lot about dog benches and such. But in my teens we just had dogs roaming free in the house (or in the garage if they've been naughty). No benches at all.
I know that one Violet is in is more like a traveller box (we didn't have those either, but our dogs were a bit big for one anyway), but that thought just popped in my head.

@trinsec She would be deeply offended by the implication, but she may secretly be a cat. She also very much enjoys going through doors.
@trinsec It's not where she usually sleeps, but she considers it a safe space. She's also conditioned to go in there before we leave the house, as she knows she'll get a treat.
She also likes to sit on a bench by the front window, where she can watch for invaders.
At night, she prefers to sleep in the human bed. In the exact center. Sideways.
