ChatGPT stuff
So the main unanticipated social impact I've heard about from #ChatGPT so far (in additional to all the anticipated ones) is people coming into libraries, bookstores, reddit subs, and so on, with a list of one or more books or academic papers that they're looking for, but having a hard time finding.
Because they don't exist.
"But ChatGPT, that #AI on the #internet, recommended them to me!"
Apparently it loves to hallucinate books and papers.
