OK, you caught me. I always complain about people using abbreviations without disambiguation, but now I did it!

DOS = Denial or Service

(some guy rapidly posted 20+ toots in a row, so I muted him.)

@Pat Ah yeah, he's very active. Understandable that you muted him, no problem. Though no real need to mention who you muted or blocked, unless you really wanted to share it with the public I suppose.

I try to do that now when I think of it, for transparency and so I can remember why I muted/blocked someone.

@Pat You could make use of this profile notes feature and put in there why you blocked someone? That seems easier than trying to search back one of your toots, especially if the search is broken again.
