I'm such a nerd.. A dutch friend of mine remarked "One reason the Dutch are so good at english is when you go to the movies we dont have voice overs, we use closed captioning instead"...
I replied "no you don't", and he protested before i pointed out it is literally impossible for a movie theater to show closed captioning because by definition closed captioning implies the viewer has the control to turn it off and on, which you cant do at a theater. He was referring to open captioning :)

Oh wow, that sounds kinda suck. Phone in front of you, and your eyes constantly have to switch between the movie in the distance and the text near you?
I'm starting to understand the complaints of my deaf American friends. ;)
@trinsec @freemo I misremembered. They give you a device on a gooseneck that fits in the cup holder on the chair. You position it so it is just below the screen in your field of view. It is not much different than the scrolling text of open captions except it never obscures the view. I find it comfortable enough.
