As a fellow Kindle to Kobo convert, this all rings true. Ereaders that get out of their own way are undervalued.

@jon We still use ancient ereaders in our households. Mom didn't want to upgrade at all because she got all used to the simple interface of her old PRS-T2. :D
@jon Yeah, I also still use the PRS-T2. The only reason I'd want to upgrade are for: Waterproof (less anxious when reading in bath!) and backlight. But like you said, those are luxury features. It's not like my waterlogged books are waterproof and lightgiving either. :P
And physical buttons are a must for me for next/previous page.
