“Questions have resurfaced about problematic in communities and code, and specifically the use of terminology like ‘master’ and ‘slave’. […] The community, for example, has started work to rename its ‘master’ branch to ‘main’ branch and phase out use of ‘whitelist’ and ‘blacklist’ in favor of ‘allowlist’ and ‘denylist’. Whitelist and Blacklist now have new words defining them.
