@freemo That's [Aral Balkan](https://ar.al/). He's a #freesoftware advocate and a fierce critic of #surveillance, and I follow him and often agree with him about those matters. We seem to disagree _a lot_ about politics and economics, though. He's quite opinionated and blunt in his commentary. That said, I have _not_ seen him engage in name-calling, abuse, or any other objectionable actions of that sort. But who knows. 🤷♂️

@tripu nvm just checked. while it said the quote was muted I dont have him blocked at all. Seems he has **me** blocked for some reason. Again dont really remember any interaction with him though.
@freemo My bet: he blocked you, or this whole instance (or his instance blocked ours) because you are obviously a right-wing supremacist who runs this node where incels threaten the identity of minorities.Or something of the sort.
@tripu I will never judge a person on their stance on issues, and I certainly didnt mute him for simply disagreeing on politics, and of course support his stance on surveillance and free software.
I only mute someone if they are unhinged, angry, and disrespectful in the extreme, usually when racist slurs are the main form of attack So I am sure he did one of those at some point.
That said I cant recall the exact incident so take it with a grain of salt.
