Russian ammo makes up 40% of ammunition in the US, and was the only thing keeping prices down expect hella price hikes.

I don't think this is true. It might be 40% of 7.62x39 or 7.62x54r but it can't be 40% of all ammo
@valleyforge @splitshockvirus a lot of low income and collectors have cheap combloc pistols and/or an SKS so it doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility. Virtually every gun owner I know at least has a tokarev or SKS. When other milsurp skyrocketed in price the old commie stuff lagged behind significantly and was still affordable up until recently

@sharutiaburaddofouren @valleyforge @splitshockvirus If you look at the PSA AK103 they have FN barrels and are good guns. These are not your shitty 20,000 rnds garage built AKs but good rifles and are way better than any AR15 under $1,000. BTW most of us actually own two or three AKs. This hurts the shooting industry as new shooters cant learn on cheap ammo or just have fun blasting away with a 75rnd drum.

Foreign maybe but Serbian, Czech, Italian, Mexican, and Israeli are all exceedingly common. I see more of these than Russian

@valleyforge @splitshockvirus @sharutiaburaddofouren Almost all of my .45 ACP was Monarch-branded Barnaul. There was literally no other ammo during 2020. So I'd say Russian ammo makes 95% of all ammo at times.
