The Israeli mafia. I publicly became a whistleblower over in Israel against the mafia when I found out they were involved in a company I took over management of.
Before I spoke up they sent one of their guys to "talk" to me where I was physically assaulted and told they would kill me and my family if I went public. I immediately went public that day and fled the country. I continue to work with authorities remotely.
Once I got home I reported to the FBI and border security. They told me flat out they probably couldnt protect me and if they did anything id be dead long before they would respond... They urged me to arm myself and even used their power as the FBI to rush my conceal carry permit.
So in short, I bought the guns for very real self protection.
Crazy situation, it just shows how powerless big gov can be protecting individuals against organised criminals but very effective at limiting civil liberties and encroaching on privacy rights in the name of national security.

No in this case we are talking about the actual mafia (people not govt run as far as I am aware).
