Mastodon makes a noise every time it provides me a notification. It is loud and unexpected, but I don't see a configuration option on my preferences. Anyone know how to change this notification noise, or turn it off?
@freemo I get lots of notifications -- Twitter, Slack. But their noises are discreet, while my Mastodon ones are loud!

@worldsendless I can only tell you how to turn it off, not sure if or how you could change it.

@worldsendless I hear ya, i just dont know if there is an easy solution. If there is one its probably an extension specific to your browser.

@worldsendless the configuration is with your browser. It must ask permission the first time to notify you (which at some point you granted it).. therefoer you must revoke that permission in your browser to stop it.
What browser you use?
