As my personaljournal.ca blog federates here I can't always find the post on here.
What is the most effective way to tag my self in to the posts so that I get a notification a post has been made so that I can't find here easily.

287 toots there, so all the activity is on the account. Once Following, you get notifications of new posts. All subscribers do.

It might happen -- I edited all of my pages with a new Footer last night and got a zillion notifications, ouch. Hope followers didn't get that same spam
BTw -- might be a good idea to include a mention to Fedi Following in your footer.
Unfortunately I haven't found a way to do that with a link -- it will open the blog page to read instead, if I use the @ name there.
I will experiment a little, I am sure the posts get here.
