Just because you are vaccinated does not mean you can't host the virus and pass it on to others.
Vaccination simply helps the body build the immune system by being presented with an inert version of the virus, as far as I understand the body can then produce antibodies that recognise the spike proteins.
The body can then recognise the virus and, hopefully produce the correct response.
If I had a smart phone and worked in a school then having the UK test and trace app would be worthless
Staff are not allowed to have phones in the classroom, none of the kids have one, so as a supply teaching assistant, if all the kids were infacted my smart phone would be stored in a school office safe, well away from proximity to other phones, so would not ping me for being in close contact.

But the rules / tech on test and trace get lost in the school system, that system seems to assume everyone has a smart phone or may be assumes people can afford one or even that they assume we want a tracking device in our pockets,

Yes that true, Just saying even if it did work it wouldnt be helpful around kids that much anyway.
