@gnome Does anyone know if the Cheese web camp app will be updated to support HD please.
I am asking as it seems it is maintained by the gnome team. I amk also asking as I have a Bresser USB Microscope, which works fine in Cheese, however the microscope supports up to 1080 pictures, but Cheese only goes up to 640x480.

@zleap @gnome In a german ubuntu wiki I found the following hint:
"Troubleshooting for newer versions.
Some webcams seem to only produce low-resolution images when using the newer versions of Ubuntu/Cheese. This can be worked around in most cases by using the latest libv4l versions.
