This is worrying, if they try that in the EU / UK they need permission to do so from the person whos data it is
I agree, but why can't the NHS or other entitiy based in the UK have a department that is charged with using AI to do that, data then stays within the UK and therefore the GDPR juristiction.
I don't trust google with this data, as soon as it leaves the UK or EU we potentially lose control

Yeah but it's totally. Coming isn't it. I'm a bit torn. So much useful clinical data is actually wasted, so there is definitely potential to do more with it.
