There is no point warning of anything when Israel won't listen, doesn't want to listen and has a wider agenda.
Time for the political class to STOP talking and time to take action. What is the death toll up to now 28,000 people, some may be hamas, the rest are men, women and children (most of whom were not even BORN when Hamas took power, and many of those are too young to vote, even if they were able to)
It is NOT anti semetic to critisize Ireal over this, and they need to be TOLD TO STOP, but that is not enough say there WILL be dire consequences if this carries on. The ICC and ICJ need to put something in place to hold those who are empowering isreal to carry on to account. This includes Rishi Sunak.
We need to stop both anti semitism and islamaphobia, take a tough stance on both. Otherwise we are just storing up hatred until it explodes again.
What happened on October 7, was horrific and can never be condoned, the respon se is even more horrific and can't be condoned either or hidden behind self defence.
If this new operation takes place it will be a MASSACRE. 1.2 million people will be displaced (well perhaps a few 1000 survivors), probably out of the state of Palestine.
Then what, West Bank, we are seeing evidence of targeting of Palestinians, so is that next, will THOSE people be bombed in to submission too.
How are the west sitting by and allowing clear violations of international law to take place, while if this happened anywhere else (Iran, China Russia, Myanmar) it is strongly condemmed. double standards.
@zleap @faab64 Similar to prison rules: if you warn your opponent you just give them notice to set up on you. That's why rapists in prison get shanked without warning.
I am used to dealing with deterrable enemies but Israel is not deterrable so warnings may be pointless.
