I notice some recent images delivered from the rover were actually captured much earlier on in the mission. How do they prioritize image dissemination and upload in their processing chain, I wonder... Presumably they favor sending images of scientific relevance and for operational status, hence more images of soil, rock, and the rover itself. Seeing the parachute from below may be useful, but maybe not needed as much since they'd already landed.
