Haven't been keeping up with for automation, but they seem to have doubled down on "enterprise solutions" from was a fairly comprehensible agent-based configuration management tool.

@2ck I think they kinda had to with things like docker and that whole universe kinda displacing them. If they didnt go enterprise they probably werent going to survive.

@freemo I don't know about that. There's a way of getting people to use your product by catering to the people who *actually* use your product and not to their bosses. I think is more like that. Although red hat has pushed things like Ansible Tower that I think of as more geared towards management types, it's still easy to cut through the BS to instructions for download, basic project, to supporting multiple environments.
