Mask littering was my first concern when the pandemic started. (Know this article reflects the problem in a medical setting). At least in Europe, where they still haven't figured out the littering with cigarette buds, now adding an additional source of pollution. They did get the plastic bag concern fairly under wrap.
Where as cigarette buds only concern the minority of individuals, almost everyone has to where a mask here. And I don't remember how many times I have heard someone say they lost their mask. As if putting it in the rear pocket is the best solution or in a pocket that has other stuff in it!?
